I often share that I’m having a smoothie at home and get questions about what I put in my smoothies- and while I like to mix it up I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite things I use along with my blinder that I absolutely love! My cousin SK who eats mainly plant based shared how she tries to have a smoothie/juice a day and a salad and I thought it sounded really yummy and a great way to get lots of fruits and veggies in. Plus I’m a vegetarian so I always try to make sure I’m getting enough protein in an day otherwise I turn to snacking and being exhausted because I’m not getting the right amount of vitamins and protein. So here’s what my MUST HAVES are in most of my smoothies!

- Spinach. It’s a great way to get in extra greens without even noticing honestly! I always try to add in about a half a cup to a cup of spinach or kale!
- Flax Oil. This is just great for your health in SO many areas- regular pooping (LOL BUT TRUE!), skin health, inflammation, reduces cancer risk, and the list goes on!
- Antioxidant Inner Beauty Boost. This is a probiotic that I honestly SWEAR helps keep my skin clear by getting out all the bad stuff from my gut. It’s pricey but lasts a while and I swear I’ve noticed a difference from it!
After that I usually throw in whatever I’m feeling depending on what I’m craving. I always go for unsweetened almond milk because I don’t want the added sugar and add in frozen or fresh fruit! Sometimes I’ll add a tablespoon of peanut butter if I’m craving it or am having an insane day and know the smoothie will be the only thing i have time to eat for a while!
