My favorite recipes: Baked Brie!

March 30, 2018 By Noelle 122 Comments

Finally sharing this delicious recipe for you just in time for friends and family time this weekend! It’s baked brie that I had for the first time last year at my Aunt Linda’s for Thanksgiving. She came out with a warm skilled of it and I about died I ate so much of it! So insanely delicious and something I have made SO many times since then! It’s super easy and your guests will totally be impressed!

Aunt Linda’s Baked Brie

1 round block of brie or several slices (depending on how much you want)

Sliced almonds (again depends on how much you want, but I usually use 3/4 of a cup)

Preserves (any kind works, but my favs are strawberry and apricot!)

French bread/ crackers/ Triscuits (this is to eat with the cheese so whatever you’d like!)

Oven proof skillet to cook in

——–

Prep the oven by setting it to 350 degreed. Then cut off the top rind of the brie round or slice and set in skillet. Once oven is preheated put just brie in oven until completely melted and bubbling (usually 20 to 25 minutes depending on how much brie you used but you want all of the cheese totally flat and melted). While this is in the oven toast the almonds a little on the stove top (Usually only takes 2-3 minutes) and set aside. Once brie is bubbling and even, take several table spoons of the preserves and place it in dots all over the brie. If you really like preserves use several dollops as I do! Next put the toasted almonds on top and put back into the oven until preserves are warm (about 10 more minutes!) Slice up some French bread and enjoy!

I hope you guys enjoy this recipe! I will have more coming so soon!
