Finally here is the big office reveal! I’ve been working on finishing this little space for a while and am so happy with it! I spend lots of days here (as does Danny) just working on our laptops and getting things done so I wanted it to feel just right and like a creative space, but still clean!
Danny’s one big request when we moved into this apartment was a really big desk. When I couldn’t find exactly how big he wanted I decided to put two West Elm desks together to create a large desk affect! I’m so happy to say he loves it and I think it looks great in the space! Above the desk are these two prints I bought from School House that I get lots of questions about! Next to the desk I hung up a few plants to create a whimsy feel and put in a nice green touch. I also picked up this little old globe to put on the desk to fuel my travel inspiration.
One thing I love about this room is the bookshelves! I had Ikea install them and they are sturdy and perfect! We have loads and loafs on of books on them along with some little knickknacks. Next to it is a faux plant because the real one we had got sick and died. However I love the faux one and not having to take care of it!
Next to this I have a map of the world that’s also from School House. Underneath are two white file cabinets from CB2 that are EVERYTHING! These are so practical and make my life so happy. I’m so thankful I found these and that they fit nice in this little room! Next to them is an Ikea lamp that was one of the very first things I impulsively bought for the apartment! It fits nice in here however and I’m glad we have the extra light when the sun goes down!
Since the ceiling in this room goes down, we put up my pinecone lights to keep as a reminder from hitting your head and honestly for the most part it works! But most of all, thank you for all of YOUR help choosing a rug because it really brings this space all together!
