Finally the room tours have begun! Let me explain: I have decided that instead of doing one big blog post with just a photo of each room I would take each room and share all of the details with you. I LOVE home decor and have loved decorating our home os much that I would really love to share each room piece by piece with you guys. We now have 4 bedrooms (our room, guest room, my closet room, and the office) so I also just felt it was too much to share in one post. I’ll also make a Youtube video too and haven’t decided if for that I should do just one big one or room by room. Thoughts?!

Anyway, to kick off the tours here’s first our kitchen! There’s still a few things to do, the most important being changing the light fixtures! It’s SO hard to chose the fight fixtures. As soon as I do get some and have them installed I’ll be sure to share the finished look on here too! I’m sure I’ll always be updating different things in our space (TBH I’ve already added a whale mobile and a rug to the kitchen!) but for the most part our kitchen is fairly simple. I think it’s so nice to have a really clean place to cook (and think!) plus our kitchen opens into the living room and there’s a lot doing on there so it only made sense for the kitchen to be a bit more simple.

Incase you missed it, I did a blog post too on how I added this backsplash! You can check it out here. I tried to keep everything white and then went for some 60’s touches like the mixer (which I already had), this clock from West Elm, and the Smeg toaster because I’ve always wanted to own a Smeg something and a toaster for now will just have to do!

I hope you guys enjoy this first look at our kitchen!
