Sharing some of my daily routines with you…
I’m not going to lie.. living a ‘freelance’ life, I don’t have too many routines and have never been a heavy routine person, but I do have a few things I do every single day that I feel really help me Face Forward with confidence. Super excited to work together with Clinique for some more helpful tips. Take a look below:
Drinking lots of water (especially when you wake up)
This is one of my biggest things. I drink 2-4 cups of water as soon as I wake up. Not coffee,but water. I honestly feel it truly helps my body wake up and not only that,but since I began doing this my skin has been so clear and different. The first few years I lived in New York I had bad acne. I think a big cause for this was how dry my skin was and drinking a lot more water really helped me with that as well as how I felt on the inside.
Take a break for yourself
For me, it’s really important to take a break from the computer, phone, tablet, whatever it may be and just read a good book for a little bit (30 minutes a day at least is what I go for) or just enjoy whatever gives you a break. It’s important to have you time so that you feel like yourself and are in a good place.
This might seem obvious,but every night before I go to bed I try to tidy up my clothes and random things I’ve taken out that day. Not having things all over your apartment really helps you put your best face forward for the next day. Putting my clothing away is a big one for me. This really helps me with picking out a look for the next day.
Taking care of my skin is one of the few routines I also have that’s highly important to me. I use the Clinique 3-step skincare system to really help my skin feel and look amazing. I’ve already said this,but the moisturizer really is the best! Such an easy routine that really helps.
