Talking about some future goals and changes in my life with Clinique…
In my post last month with Clinique and Social Stars, I was talking about putting my best Face Forward and and making promises to myself and others. I’ve truly been working on those and I feel really proud about that. Now in this post I want to talk about my goals for the future and some exciting changes that are happening in my life!
Sometime this month, Danny and I will be moving into a muuuuch bigger apartment than the one we live in now! It’s only a block away from where we live now (so we will still be in Greenpoint, BK) but but it’s a two bedroom as opposed to our studio now. This is something I’ve been waiting for for so long. I’ve dreamed of having a two bedroom, one to be our bedroom and one to be an office and closet. I mean, honestly I feel like every blogger I know that lives in NY has that same dream! Who wouldn’t?! So I am thrilled to be moving and one of the biggest reasons is because I will be able to do SO many more posts in our new apartment as well as videos.
Another goal I have with the move is really going full force with my blog. That sounds a bit aggressive, but what I really mean is trying to post more often. I sometimes get a bit lazy about editing my photos and I want to kick that habit. I also have a goal to bring so many more things to this blog other than just outfit posts. Once we get settled into our new place, my goal is to create some truly fun content. Although I love clothing and sharing my looks, which I still will do all of the time, I also want to add some recipes to my blog, DIY, more makeup tutorials, advice, how I edit my photos, and so many more things! I mainly just have a really hard time shooting in my apartment that I live in right now because it’s so crammed and small. I really like to have photos to go with my text because I think they help illustrate the post. So my goal once I move is to work on more create content! So look out for so many exciting things that I’ll be working on!
One other goal I have is to let my skin breathe and give it more days off. I am constantly wearing make up because I love putting it on and truly enjoy it,but I want to every few days give my face a day off and put the makeup away. I think when you’re a blogger this is a really important one. You feel like you always need to be ‘all done up’ and therefore just always put makeup on! I am glad to say that as I am writing this post at a coffee shop in Williamsburg I am wearing none. It feels good and my skin feels happy! The only thing I put on was some of Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. It makes me skin feel hydrated and soft. I sometimes get little dry patches and this really helps! If you have any skin goals too, I highly suggest you check out their 3 Step Skincare Set and see what works for you! I’ve been using it everyday since I got it.
Love,
Noelle
