Sharing the first of a few blog posts from Elk Lake Lodge…
I just wanted to share a few snapshots with you guys from our trip to Elk Lake. We had a beyond amazing time and it was everything and more than I had dreamed of. I really want to go back as soon as I can because it was so dreamy. The weather was a bit rainy when we were there so layers were appropriate most of the time, so I want to go back when it’s warm and jump in the lake!
This look basically just consist of items I wanted to wear while hiking. Originally the plaid shirt wasn’t something I’d wear with this,but since it was a bit chilly I wore it pretty much all day! I thrifted this flowy Free People dress from Crossroads Trading and tied this headscarf around my neck instead of my head! Sometimes it’s nice when things can be worn both ways. I’m also wearing Wolverine black boots that seem like something I’d never really wear,but I honestly love them! They look cute and are very practical for the outdoors, which is perfect.
I’m missing this trip so much, especially with all of the photos I took there and miss being with some of my family.
