This past Thursday was my birthday…
This past Thursday, December 18th, was my twenty-third birthday. It’s always so bittersweet becoming a year older.. you think back on the past year and feel happy, but also sad that a year has passed. It’s such an odd feeling, but perhaps it’s just me who feels this way! But you guys, my amazing readers, wished me the sweetest happy birthdays! I got so many Facebook and Instagram birthday wishes that it made me remember how truly grateful I am to have you out there who just happen to be a fan of my personal style and taste. I remember being in high school and reading all of my favorite fashion blogs. These girls felt like my dear friends.. but I only knew their lives because of the internet. When their birthdays would roll around, I would feel so excited and happy for them on their special day. It dawned on me that I have readers who are in the same place that I was in before (and still am with my favorite bloggers!) and it made me feel really special. Thank you guys so much for keeping up with my posts and for being so kind. You are a huge part of what made my birthday special and make me so happy for starting my blog! I cannot thank you enough.
Now on a style note: this outfit was styled around this amazing blouse by of course Family Affairs! It’s also like the dress I posted, apart of their special holiday treats! So today they will announce a special sale on this blouse and be sure to follow their Instagram here to see. The perfect crystal blue is what I love most about this blouse. It’s so vintage! I paired it with a plaid skirt (you know how I love mixing patterns), black tights, and my Samantha Pleet boots. Finished it off with one last pattern from this Miss Patina coat! A perfect birthday outfit.
More posts from Rachel and I’s birthday party (yes, her birthday is the day after mine!) coming very shortly!
Love,
Noelle
