Help with booking your cruise!

December 28, 2017 By Noelle 2 Comments

I’m so excited to finally share with you guys how I booked my cruise and why I decided to go to the Caribbean!  A lot of you were asking so I put together this blog post to share how I booked my cruise on Cruise Critic to make your cruise experience the best.

I really wanted to go on an end of the year cruise and get away from the cold New York winter!  You guys know I love this time of year but sometimes you just need to get some sun!! I booked my trip through the site cruisecritic.com. It was the perfect site to book my trip and see all the different types of cruises I could take without getting overwhelmed with options.

I had really wanted to go to the Caribbean but because of all the terrible hurricanes there this year I was worried it wouldn’t be an option.  Thankfully this article helped me figure out which ports were still open.
The Caribbean relies a lot on the tourism industry so I was happy to visit and share with you guys how beautiful the islands are! I decided on Nassau because it was the capital and it seemed so fun and the perfect option!

Booking my cruise through Cruise Critic was so, so easy!! I just used the cruise itinerary page to put in all the things I was looking for. I wasn’t looking for a very long trip since I was going right before Thanksgiving so I decided to go on a three day cruise.  I also really wanted to spend a day in Miami as well so I set that as the departure city. I was able to read all the reviews from people who had previously been on the cruise and a super helpful description of the ship.  I was also able to look at a ton of photos! I decided to go with the Carnival Victory three day trip to the Bahamas and it was perfect!  If you’re having trouble with choosing which one to go on you can also use this page which lists the 14 best cruise ships in the Caribbean!!!

Jess and I sat down and went through all the different excursions to see what we wanted to do and set up  some appointments at the spa!! We wanted to try everything but made a list of what was a ‘must do’ since we sadly couldn’t fit everything in.  But we had so much fun exploring the island of Nassau and seeing all the local merchants and then relaxing in the spa and getting mani pedis!

I hope this helped you guys plan for your next cruise!!! This was only my second time every being on a cruise and it was so fun!! I can’t wait to do another!

This post was sponsored by Cruise Critic but all thoughts are my own.

My very first Mother’s Day as your mom my sweet My very first Mother’s Day as your mom my sweet Evergreen 🤍 you’ve changed my life forever & being your mom is always going to be the thing I am most proud of in my life 🤍 I remember right after she was born (this first photo) she was crying & I just kept saying “it’s okay baby, it’s okay” and I can’t even explain how surreal it was to be holding my baby in my arms. It’s hard for me sometimes to not feel like I’m counting down the Mother’s days my mom had with me.. thinking I only have 6 more. It reminds me constantly to be more present and make allllll the memories & don’t hold back. Being a mom is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done & also one of the absolute best, beautiful, meaningful things I’ve ever done. 🤍

A little love letter to this @sezane floral shirt A little love letter to this @sezane floral shirt of my dreams 💕🌷 this weekend is my first Mother’s Day and it has me thinking a lot about being a mom and weird little details. I used to think when you loved someone it meant you had every part of them memorized- you could pick out their hand in a line up or their lips. But with Ever I’ve realized it’s not like that- every single day she’s growing and every single day she wakes up a little bit different. It may sound silly but it’s been on my heart lately about how weirdly this feels like such an emotional part of motherhood that seems so simple but is something I never really thought about. #sezanelovers #sezanepartner
Motherhood is often seen as the ultimate balancing Motherhood is often seen as the ultimate balancing act - managing a career, maintaining a home, and raising children. But what if saying “no” could actually be empowering and give mothers the chance to say “yes”? #pureleafpartner 💕

That’s where the “No” Grants partnership with @pureleaf comes in. This program is designed to provide a little extra financial support to mothers who want to say “no” to the pressures and expectations that come with motherhood and “yes” to simplicity. With the “No” Grants partnership, Pure Leaf is empowering mothers to say “no” to doing it all and “yes” to simplifying life.
