You guys may not know this about me, but I’m a terrible, terrible planner! So needless to say planning our wedding has been a weeeee bit delayed! We basically finally decided the time of the year – November 2019 – but we still need to try to nail down a date! We had a picnic to get away from our computer, TV, and just honestly all home distractions to set some wedding goals and I’m excited to share more along the way with you guys! It felt good to sit down, look at the calendar, and start working on this together! I’ve teamed up with Zola to help us make our wedding dreams come true and get started *finally* planning our wedding!
One of the other details we have decided on for our wedding is we want it to be upstate NY! One of the biggest reasons for that is the first few years of being together we were really only able to travel upstate together and it just feels so special to us! I personally have a lot of big design plans we will work our together, but the biggest dream of mine is to have it on a Christmas tree farm! I don’t want to spoil allllll of the details, but something that’s a magical wintry land is my dream wedding.
Something we also have to think about is wedding registry! Zola is the perfect registry because not only is their site an amazing tool to help plan your wedding in the first place (FREE wedding websites, checklist and guestlist), but their registry allows you to register for over 50,000 gifts, experiences, and cash funds from over 500 brands! That means you can register for upgrades like Le Creuset to experiences like Airbnb gift cards and honeymoon funds. Plus it’s all free shipping, price matched, and group gifting which makes it so easy for everyone!
Planning our wedding is something we are both so excited about, but we are so busy that sites like Zola help make things so much more simple and I’m so thankful for it! I can’t wait to share more details, but for now I’m happy we are starting to nail down a final date and get our design/location/style ideas going! It feels so exciting!
