Sharing some of my favorite places we visited while in Austin last week…
Grizzelda’s
This. Place. OMG it’s sooo cute and for brunch they do a Mexican buffet that’s super delicious! So not only is the food really yummy, but it’s downright ADORABLE. I honestly couldn’t believe how adorable this place was and they had DIY mimosas so… you know I was loving it. Last but not least they have a bright pink wall outside! Perfect Instagram opp.
Barton Springs
So I had somehow never heard of this, but it was AMAZING! I highly, highly suggest it! It’s a spring in Austin and it’s seriously just so beautiful! Apparently when it’s super warm it can get pretty crazy busy, but when we went it wasn’t very crowded and was such a great time. This was my favorite thing we did while in Austin because it was so different from what I’ve usually done when there! So pack a swimsuit and make time to go because it was so wonderful!
Heywood Hotel
While in Austin, we stayed at the Heywood Hotel and it was so relaxing and wonderful. I sadly didn’t take any photos of our room (unsure how I forgot to do that!) but it was so beautiful. There’s a communal porch area and that’s where I am in this photo above! It was the most comfy bed I have slept in in a long time and was just perfect.
Torchy’s Tacos
For some who have visited Austin or live there, this is so obvious to them. But I have somehow been to Austin two years ago and had actually never been here! Torchy’s is downright delicious and doesn’t break the bank. We didn’t get a chance to visit their taco truck as it was raining, but everyone raves about it so I’m sure it’s great! GET THE QUESO! I promise you will thank me.
Amy’s Ice Cream
OMG this ice cream is so delicious! Rachel Martino and I got Mexican vanilla and boy did it hit the spot! It’s located in a bit of a touristy area of Austin which honestly I think is quite fun! I highly suggest getting one of their waffle cones because they taste like a delicious cookie!
JuiceLand Barton Springs
After hitting Barton Springs, walk a nice 10 minute walk on over to JuiceLand! Rachel had gone to this place before and it was so delicious! It truly hit the spot after a day by the water.
I hope you guys enjoy this guide! I was only in Austin for a few days so I didn’t get to visit toooo many places, but I thought I would share my favorites we went to with you! I still need to share my London favorites which I’m hoping to post this week! Also, if you liked any of my looks click through the scroll below so you can shop some of the looks!
