8 easy ways to decorate for Christmas!

December 16, 2017 By Noelle 140 Comments

With less than two weeks before Christmas, I’ve decided to share 8 ways you can easily decorate for Christmas with Pier 1! I love holiday decor so much and was so excited to shop my favorite items from their store to share with you! They have the best holiday pieces for your home so let’s jump right in and share my 8 tips!

  1. Add a tree to your living room! It doesn’t matter if it’s a small little guy like this one from Pier 1 or a big one! It’s just nice to have sort of tree in your living room area to bring the holidays to life!

2. Add some garland above your bed! It’s nice to decorate your living room, but sometimes we forget that it’s nice to bring the holidays into your bedroom as well! I love this garland from Pier 1 and especially love the fact that it lights up! Two of my favorites from their website are here and here!

3. Holiday pillows in your living room or bedroom! I LOVE holiday pillows and am super obsessed with this Christmas llama!

4. Beaded Christmas tree coasters! It’s a nice touch for when you have guests over, plus is just beautiful as decor! I love that it adds extra festiveness easily.

5. Christmas lanterns on your stairs! I love these lanterns that have a Christmas scene inside, big or small! I wanted several on the stairs, but living in a tiny space at the moment I had to opt for one! However, I love that it lights up and adds something to the stairway for the holiday!

6. Add a Santa Clause somewhere in your home! What would Christmas be without Santa!? I added this cute plush Santa to my home, but any sort of novelty Santa is perfect! I love this guys plaid Santa suit!

7. Spruce up your space with garland and garland bundles! This is one of the first things I do for the holidays because it’s so easy! I used just one of the Pier 1 garland bundles for the whole apartment because it comes with 4 full separate pieces! So, I added some above our fridge, next to our stove, and one branch in our bedroom! By far the biggest holiday bang for your buck!

8. Get some plaid or Christmas themed dish towels! This to me is another easy and affordable way to add holiday decor to your home! Plus, it’s practical because it’s something you actually use in your home! I love that this set comes with one green and one red!

I hope you guys enjoyed these 8 tips with Pier 1 on how to bring holiday cheer into your home!
Post in collaboration with Pier 1, but all thoughts on home decor are truly my own!

My very first Mother’s Day as your mom my sweet My very first Mother’s Day as your mom my sweet Evergreen 🤍 you’ve changed my life forever & being your mom is always going to be the thing I am most proud of in my life 🤍 I remember right after she was born (this first photo) she was crying & I just kept saying “it’s okay baby, it’s okay” and I can’t even explain how surreal it was to be holding my baby in my arms. It’s hard for me sometimes to not feel like I’m counting down the Mother’s days my mom had with me.. thinking I only have 6 more. It reminds me constantly to be more present and make allllll the memories & don’t hold back. Being a mom is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done & also one of the absolute best, beautiful, meaningful things I’ve ever done. 🤍

A little love letter to this @sezane floral shirt A little love letter to this @sezane floral shirt of my dreams 💕🌷 this weekend is my first Mother’s Day and it has me thinking a lot about being a mom and weird little details. I used to think when you loved someone it meant you had every part of them memorized- you could pick out their hand in a line up or their lips. But with Ever I’ve realized it’s not like that- every single day she’s growing and every single day she wakes up a little bit different. It may sound silly but it’s been on my heart lately about how weirdly this feels like such an emotional part of motherhood that seems so simple but is something I never really thought about. #sezanelovers #sezanepartner
Motherhood is often seen as the ultimate balancing Motherhood is often seen as the ultimate balancing act - managing a career, maintaining a home, and raising children. But what if saying “no” could actually be empowering and give mothers the chance to say “yes”? #pureleafpartner 💕

That’s where the “No” Grants partnership with @pureleaf comes in. This program is designed to provide a little extra financial support to mothers who want to say “no” to the pressures and expectations that come with motherhood and “yes” to simplicity. With the “No” Grants partnership, Pure Leaf is empowering mothers to say “no” to doing it all and “yes” to simplifying life.
