Sharing some ways I enjoy relaxing at home….
I’m sharing #Shortlist in my life as part of a Shortlist sponsored series for Socialstars™! I’ve gotten asked a lot recently what I do to unwind at home and take care of myself so I thought I would share it in this post with you and Shortlist! For starters, I try to shut off and enjoy time with my boyfriend Danny and our two pets Duke and Monty without my cell phone or computer. It’s so good to just enjoy each others company and talk about life etc. Another way is by going for a walk during the day with Duke because I never really have my phone out when I’m walking him and it helps me just enjoy life, the weather, and my neighborhood. Exercise is also one of my all time favorite days to take care of myself! I feel so great after and get to spent 45 minutes to an hour away from work and my phone and just be out of my head for a little bit.
Another way to relax and take care of yourself is giving yourself even just 20-30 minutes to read or enjoy a hobby that you like to do. For me it’s taking a bath and reading a new book or even just a magazine and having a good soak. I always feel pretty peaceful after that. I also love to take care of my skin and that’s a big part of self love to me. I use Shortlist‘s serum and cream everyday because it makes my skin look and feel amazing!
