I’ve teamed up with the most delicious Australian treat – Tim Tam biscuits – to share a fun and easy way to create a center piece and table decor for your Friendsgiving!
If you’ve never been lucky enough to have a Tim Tam biscuit, I highly suggest you go out and get some! They just came to the US this year and are highly delicious! So being a biscuit that is highly loved, I thought it would be a fun idea to create a center piece around them!
All I needed was skewers, icing, and some sort of edible design to add onto the biscuit. You can get so many different things at your local grocery store or online! The idea here is to have them sort of look like a cake pop so you want a cute design that will match your table setting! All you do is put the Tim Tam biscuit onto the skewer, use icing to place on the edible design (I’m using sugar leaves!), and push into a Styrofoam. I put my Styrofoam (I just saved some from a package that came in) in a marble vase and used leaves to cover the Styrofoam! You could also use faux moss which would look amazing or some fall leaves!
I also thought it would be nice to use the extra Tim Tam biscuits from the center piece as place holders on each plate. I tied everything together and it is a little sweet treat you can enjoy before dinner! Who doesn’t love a little dessert before dinner!?!
Also, have you guys ever heard of a Tim Tam Slam!?!? That’s what Jess and I are doing in these photos! It’s where you bite of the corners of the biscuit, use the biscuit as a straw and suck up your desired beverage (hot chocolate, milk or soy are my favorite!) and just let it sit for a second and you can eat the whole biscuit! It will be so soft and delicious! It might sound weird, but I promise using the Tim Tam biscuit as a straw is SO fun and the biscuit once it gets soft from the milk is SO GOOD! Yum.
I hope you enjoy this festive Friendsgiving idea and it helps bring you inspiration on your center piece!
Special thanks to Tim Tam biscuits for sponsoring this post!
