See little snapshots of my adventures from Canada…
As most of you know from my Instagram or from me telling you on my last post before I left, last weekend I went to Canada for Osheaga music festival with Garage Clothing! It was actually my first time to Canada, which I was super excited about! Rachel (Jag Lever) and I had SO much fun! We got there two days before the festival so we got to spend time with the Garage team and see their offices and behind the scenes action, which was super cool! We also got to go to one of their stores and check out more of the clothing they make and I picked up even more pieces. I got an awesome parka (my first one ever, can you believe it! ha) that I can’t wait to wear when summer’s over. I’ll show you those Garage favorites of mine soon!
Anyways, the festival was so awesome. We would take Montreal’s super clean Metro to the festival every day (which I had to mention because I was really impressed by how spotless it was! NY is nothing like that) and once we got there would immediately get one of the yummy lemonades they were selling. We saw SO many awesome bands, but my favorite I think were Jack White, Kate Nash, Lorde, Modest Mouse, Temper Trap, and Foster the People! SO many amazing people played, it was hard to see them all!
For the three days I feel like I wore three totally different looks. On day one, I wore a plaid tennis skirt with a simple striped tank (at night I threw on this super cute varsity sweatshirt I am actually wearing as I type because it’s so cozy) and just my super old chucks. Day two I wore a kimono for the FIRST TIME EVER! I really loved this look actually. I just wore a button down, loose denim shorts so they looked vintage, black hat, and my Modern Vice Jetts. Day three I wore a simple dress that was perfect because Sunday was the hottest, paired with my lighter hat and vintage bandana to make the look a little cuter.
I hope this gives you a little bit of festival inspiration, especially for some of the festivals coming up in these cooler months!
Love,
Noelle
