As most of you know if you follow me on Insta, I went to Lapland, Finland at the beginning of this month with Origins and Rachel Martino! It was my absolute dream trip and was everything and more than I could of hoped for! We were there celebrating the Dr Weil Mega-Mushroom collection which I personally use DAILY and am full on obsessed with! I actually used it before going on this trip, so the fact that the trip was to Lapland and celebrating skincare I actually truly use was a dream come true! I got lots of questions about what we did and where we stayed, so I thought I would do this blog post to share some details!
We stayed in the amazing half cabin/half domes at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. It was unbelievable beautiful all around us and the cabins were so cozy and warm! I took like a million photos in the dome and we got to see the Norther Lights which is something I never thought I would see in my life. The property offers a lot of fun things you can do and while there we snowmobiled (which I had never done before!) and got to meet reindeer that literally completed my ENTIRE LIFE! I wanted to stay there for hours.. but it was also -10 degrees F so I also didn’t.. heh.
When we went on the snowmobiles I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into so my hair completely froze and my mascara was just running ALL DOWN my face! It made for a verrrrry funny photo as you can see above! I look so scary!
While on the trip I also brought along my Schmidt’s Naturals deodorant and toothpaste that is my fav! The Cedarwood and Juniper deodorant is my current face, especially while staying in this cabin in the woods it just felt so fitting! I also just love their products because they are natural and don’t have all of the awful chemicals in their products!
