Photos from when we went to visit the Modern Vice studio…
A few weeks ago Rachel and I visited Modern Vice’s studio in midtown. We were there to select some shoes and check out their new designs and on our way back to the subway we decided to shoot by the beautiful post office over there. I’ve taken photos here before,but it never gets old. It’s just such a beautiful building!
It was a chilly day and I was wearing some mixing patterns (you know how I love to!) along with this cap of mine that I don’t wear often enough. I have it tucked in an odd corner of the apartment and sort of forget I own it somethings,but it’s such a nice mixup from the usual brim hat! I actually wear hats way more than I thought I did.. but with this hat I was wearing a bit of an ‘ode to London’ look. I had a Topshop blouse underneath this sweater that, if we are being honest, I wear an absurd amount in the winter and fall. Seriously, it’s easily the number one worn thing I own! It’s insane. I paired the sweater with this checked skirt I found at Crossroads a pretty long time ago and am finally getting a wear out of!
Lastly, I have to talk about this little scottie dog necklace. Inside of it is lip balm made by Andrea Garland. As a little girl, I always cherished my jewelry that had lip balm inside and it makes me cherish the hell out of this necklace! I feel so happy to own a piece that so dearly reminds me of growing up and having my lip balm necklaces at school. Annnnd I love scottie dogs, so it’s a mega plus!
