Snaps from wandering around Manchac while I was in Louisiana…
While in Louisiana, I went to this restaurant I’ve gone to since I was itty bitty called Middendorfs. It’s mostly all fried southern amazingness and their specialty is thin fried catfish, which sadly I was too busy thoroughly enjoying to snap a photo of. But afterwards while Danny and I were driving back to Hammond (my hometown) we stopped along the way to see some of the side streets I grew up going to. Danny had never seen any of the swamp before and I was happy to see some of the water where my dad regularly would pull over on the side of the road to take out his fishing poll and see if he could catch anything. It really brought back memories and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t gone back in nearly 4 years.. after this trip I’m really hoping to go back quite a few times this year. I had the most amazing time going from Baton Rouge, to Manchac, to Hammond, Ponchatoula, and then New Orleans. I have so many photos to share with you from the whole trip!
On a different note, lets talk about this outfit. It’s a super easy Boohoo plaid dress I got during NYFW this past year. I paired it with this Free People hat I just got in (I’ve already worn the hell out of it) and these Boden t-straps (they are now on sale!).
Keep your eyes peeled for more posts from my travels!
Love,
Noelle
