One of my favorite outfits of 2015…
This is a look from Asheville that I’ve been waiting to share as it got a little closer to the holidays. The reason was because this dress is such a perfect Christmas look and I wanted to help hopefully inspire some looks for any parties or events as December 25th approaches! I talk about the holidays a lot and honestly it really is my favorite time of the year. I love the decorations (maybe the most actually), traveling to see family, having lots of holiday events, and even more of a reason to wear red and sparkly accessories. It really is just a magical time!
Let me also say- this is my first blog post of the inside of my Aunt Linda’s house. Isn’t it amazing!? Every room is just so magical and beautiful. I hadn’t been to her home since I was a kid and even in my memory I thought everything was so vintage and interesting. I specifically packed looks based on that memory because I knew my style mixed with her home decor was going to be fantastic- and in my own personal opinion it was just lovely. It’s one thing to have a cute outfit, but to have a house match them all so wonderfully.. it’s more than a girl can dream of!
I am wearing this MissGuided dress that looks so vintage! My aunt actually kept asking me where a lot of my things were from and was surprised when they weren’t vintage. Although, I do have a lot of vintage pieces, I try to share on my blog things you can actually buy (for the most part) as I know how utterly heartbreaking it can be when you see a vintage dress you can never have. So I like to share a lot of vintage-inspired or looking things! I paired this LBD with white tights (American Apparel has great one!) and these adorable Orla Kiely x Clarks flats. These shoes are so comfortable I can’t even explain it! Plus they are on sale now- so grab them while you can!
