It’s no secret I LOVE going upstate and I wanted to share a few of my favorite things to do during the fall and into wintertime!
Think Big! A Tiny House Resort
I’ve stayed here several times and I am seriously in love with these tiny homes SO much! It’s honestly like luxury camping and it’s so cozy to stay in during the colder months! They now have goats that take daily walks around the property and are super friendly! If you decide to go in the summer months, they even have a pool right by the creek, and you can swim in both! I think one of my favorite parts after a long day of adventuring, was coming back to the grounds and having a bonfire with all my friends and other guests at the resort!
Circle W
OMG! This place is the definition of adorable. It still has an old time feel of a general store from the early 1900’s, with a super yummy cafe inside. I got their grilled cheese for lunch and of course it came with the most delicious pickle too! They had a little something for everyone and it was true vintage vibes.
Boehm Farms
We came here to for some apple picking and their super cute pumpkin patch and we were NOT disappointed! The apples we picked were honestly some of the best apples I’ve ever had! The pumpkin patch was especially fun because it was pretty much empty apart from us and they had huuuuge pumpkins to choose from!
Crystal Brook Mountain Brauhaus
So this traditional German restaurant was SOOO adorable. It had true vintage German vibes and the food was delicious. We ordered the potato pancakes and their pretzels as appetizers and they were so yummy. If you like traditional German food, you will love this place!
Kaaterskill Falls
I can’t even begin to explain how breathtaking this view is. On our last day we ventured out on a short trail to get to Kaaterskill Falls and the pictures don’t even do this view justice. It truly feels like you’re on top of the world and there are various trails you can take to even go to the bottom of the falls or different sides of it!
I hope this guide helps you if you decide to take a trip to Upstate NY! I have two other blogpost guides for upstate you can check out here and here!
