Hangin’ outttt, down the streetttt, same ole thaaang, we did last weeeeeek! I’ve loved that 70’s show for so long and was inspired by the looks on the show to put together this 70’s look featuring one of my favorite stores- Modcloth! They always have incredible pieces inspired by different decades so I thought why not get out of my comfort zone and MIX IT UP! These jeans are certainly a mix up for me!
First off let me start by saying I ordered these jeans on a whim, but had a good feeling about it. They looked so cute on their website and OMG am I so glad I made the jump for them! They are so fricken good you guys! Just for reference, I got a size medium and they fit me perfectly! Like when I put them on I instantly felt so tall and cool! With this time of the year being so cold, I tent to wear the same sort of jeans and I now feel really excited to have a pair that are so different for me and 70’s!
This sweater I’m wearing is also from Modcloth and while not totally out of the box for me (I love the color!) I thought the stripes and tighter fit would be great with these jeans! It also comes in a TON of colors, but I especially love the orange stipe and yellow! I layered a button up underneath for more of a classic look and put my hair up with a scarf, completing the 70’s vibes! A few other tops that would also look great with these pants are this polk dot one here, this cool band tee, or this sweater that’s on sale for legit $20 and would be so cute tucked into the front!
