feeding the ducks in Central Park

One of the many things I love to do in Central Park…

img_6453 img_6308 img_6313 img_6357 img_6334 img_6491 img_6346 img_6390 img_6428A while back I went to Central Park with Rachel, Peter Rachel’s boyfriend, and Alea. It was a beautiful day so we thought it would be fun to take a walk through the park and take some photos. I decided to wear my new dalmatian sweater from Sugarhill Boutique with a bright red skirt that I’ve basically been searching for for ages and finally found *on sale* from Forever 21. I swear, I get these weird things in my head that I just have to find (usually classic things) and have the hardest time finding them. Then when I give up I’ll randomly find it online at a random store. Not that I’m complaining… I’m happy about it every time!

Currently Danny’s sister and mom are in town from California visiting us. It’s always so fun to have them here, especially when they stay with us. We are going to head to Home Depot for a fun kitchen project I have planned.. I can’t wait to share it with you guys! It’s something I’m super excited about and will make our kitchen a lot easier to shoot in as currently it’s too dark/yellow in there. So starting this year I’ll be sharing a whole new cooking element to my blog! I really can’t wait and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Happy 2017 everyone! I hope it’s off to a great start for you <3

Noelle

How cute are the ducks! I loove your outfit and the picnic blanket. I smiled so much with your comment about the skirt, it also happens to me the same that somehow I have a fixation on an item, as simple as it may seem to find, but it happens to be nowhere :)

I know! Why does that always happen!? You search and search and can never find what you need and then randomly you do months later. Oh well! I still always am happy when I find it even months later.

How lovely! I have to admit, I’m actually kind of afraid of ducks and geese – I had a bad encounter with them when I was a kid, and that’s the kind of thing that sticks with you. But you’re making it look charming, I might have to revise my opinion. I’m loving the classic schoolgirl look here, especially those great shoes.

Oh no! That’s awful! Well I think if you’re very careful while feeding them and make sure you don’t get too close it’s usually okay! Swans however can be a bit mean sometimes.. so I’m even semi scared of them!
