Finally sharing my last summer look…
Another perfect sundress with my little mouse bag…
At Crossroads about a month ago, I went in and snatched up about 7 new sundresses. Some were vintage (like this one) and some were new,but I just wanted easy summery dresses to throw on and now worry about ruining! Oddly, when I get something that’s second-hand I don’t worry about ruining it quite as much. I guess because I know someone else used to own it and it still isn’t messed up puts me at ease, if you know what I mean! So I was so thrilled when I tried this one on and it fit me so perfectly! I love a good floral and that’s no secret. Plus florals go nearly always go perfect with my Swedish Hasbeens- which is a huge plus!
After we watched the sun go town we went to get a snowball at some place in Orange County Danny’s sister Diana took us to. I was SO HAPPY because when she was saying snocones I didn’t realize she meant like the snowballs we have in New Orleans. It was one of my favorite treats of the whole trip! So delish!
If you haven’t taken a little look at my Youtube video from this trip, here’ the link!
Wearing a look featuring one of my favorite designers…
Samantha Pleet time and time again makes the most amazing pieces. Every season when she has a new collection coming out, I continually go to her site to see what designs she has come up with next. I mean, look at this dress from the fall that I featured in my studio visit post. So dreamy and it’s still one of my favorite pieces ever! So when I saw this classic button down with leafy pockets, I had to have it! It’s just too cute. I also paired it with these scalloped shorts she designed as well. They fit so good, especially on my curves, that once I tried them on I was in love! I actually don’t really have too much purple, but for spring and summer it’s such a lovely color! Especially with a crisp white.
I kept my accessories very nude/natural with my Swedish Hasbeens and boater hat. Not to mention these (a bit crazy) heart sunnies! Somehow they make the look a bit 70’s, don’t they? I think it’s the color of the lens!
I forgot to mention in my last post, but I made a Youtube you guys!! I’m actually going to be working on editing my first video today so if you could please subscribe to my channel you’ll be the very first to see!
